On July 4th, 2026, America will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of American innovation and ingenuity, and celebrate the greatness of our country. Having performed America’s National Anthem for five consecutive U.S. Presidents and in venues globally for almost 20 years, Award-winning International Singer and Actress Mary Millben reflects on her remarkable journey intimately woven in the history of America.  “Singing The Star-Spangled Banner, America’s National Anthem, is more than just a performance moment for me. It is a career spanning close to 20 years of singing sacred words, unifying America, honoring God and America’s heroes, and promoting freedom. In uncertain times, these songs anchor us. In defining moments, they light our way. These songs unify us as Americans, of every race, in every zip code, of all faiths.”

On July 29th, 2025, Mary joined her friends, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, and patriots across America for the America250 State & Territory Convening dinner at the historic Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., the official kickoff of the America250 celebration. The evening brought together leaders from our 56 state and territory commissions, federal agencies, corporate sponsors, and our America250 Commissioners. Mary opened the evening performing America’s National Anthem and closed the dinner with a favorite Broadway classic, “The Impossible Dream.”

Now, as national events commence in America and across the world in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary this year, Mary will lend her voice both singing and speaking, sharing her American dream story, and uplifting the shared spirit of American patriotism. Recognized as a global symbol for faith, freedom, and unity, Mary is uniquely gifted to stir and inspire spirits across the world in this celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary.
