Award-winning journalist, broadcaster, and author Mary Louise Kelly is one of the most prominent voices in American journalism today. Kelly has reported from Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and beyond. Kelly’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, Newsweek, and other publications. She was a finalist for the 2021 Pulitzer Prize, for on-the-ground reporting from Iran on the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. Kelly is also a contributing writer at The Atlantic and the author of two novels, Anonymous Sources and The Bullet, which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. Her latest book, It.Goes.So.Fast, was an instant New York Times best seller. It is a personal account of her experiences as a working mother and the challenges she has navigated in balancing her career with her family life. Kelly graduated from Harvard University and the University of Cambridge and lives in Washington, D.C.
