Will Stein helps leaders build fast, adaptable systems that bring out the best in people and keep teams performing under pressure.
Will Stein's speaking fee: $25K - $40K
At the University of Kentucky, Stein has quickly become one of the most respected young leaders in college football. A Kentucky native and former Louisville quarterback, he returned home in 2025 to take over the Wildcats after a rise that included coaching stops at Louisville, Texas, Lake Travis High School, UTSA, and Oregon. That path matters because it shaped the leadership perspective he brings to audiences: he has learned to build from the ground up, earn trust in new environments, and create systems that make people better.
Before his time as head coach, Stein spent three seasons as Oregon’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. During that stretch, Oregon became one of the most productive and disciplined offenses in the country. Since the start of 2023, the Ducks led the nation in completions and total first downs, ranked among the national leaders in passing touchdowns and scrimmage yards, and were scoring at a level no team in the country matched over that span. Earlier, at UTSA, he helped elevate the Roadrunners into one of the top offenses in the nation, with a 2022 unit that ranked ninth nationally in total offense and 12th in scoring.
For audiences across industries, Stein translates all of that into practical lessons on speed, alignment, talent maximization, and leading through transition. He is especially compelling for organizations trying to simplify complexity, move faster without losing discipline, and create systems that help people perform at their best.
How Audiences Benefit:
One reason Stein’s offenses have been so effective is that they turn complexity into clarity. He shows leaders how to simplify communication, strip away unnecessary friction, and help people make faster, better decisions in real time. Audiences leave with concrete ideas for improving execution by making the essential easier to see, easier to trust, and easier to repeat.
One of Will Stein’s defining ideas is simple: get the ball to your best playmakers and build the system around what your people do best. In this keynote, he shows leaders how to stop forcing talent into rigid models and instead design environments that unlock performance, confidence, and speed. Audiences leave with a practical approach to aligning roles, responsibilities, and strategy around strengths rather than tradition.
Stein’s offenses have been known not only for production, but for rhythm, efficiency, and discipline. He explains how teams can move faster without becoming sloppy, and how leaders create clarity so people can play with confidence instead of hesitation. This session is especially relevant for organizations trying to increase pace, responsiveness, and execution in competitive markets.
As a first-time SEC head coach returning to his home state, Stein is living the challenge of stepping into a visible role with real expectations. He shares what it means to enter a new organization, communicate a vision, build relationships quickly, and create momentum before results arrive. Leaders walk away with a practical framework for transitions, whether they are taking over a team, inheriting a challenge, or leading change from the front.
