Patsy Doerr’s Speech Topics

  • How to Develop Your Leadership Abilities as a Woman in Business

Women are the future of business. Just take a look at the data and the headlines on how gender dynamics in the workplace are changing. As CEO of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Patsy Doerr leads an organization of hundreds of thousands of women committed to promoting voluntarism and developing the potential of women. In this talk, Doerr will share practical tips and suggestions for women to make their mark and become leaders in their industries, as well as ways to grow their networks and establish positive mentor-mentee relationships.

  • How Diversity and Inclusion Can Propel Your Business Forward

Creating a workplace culture defined by diversity and inclusion is integral to the growth and development of successful organizations. For senior management, talent recruitment and development teams, Patsy Doerr will share a playbook for launching diversity and inclusion efforts within their own company, as well as KPIs and measurements for tracking success. She will also speak to how diversity spans gender, sexual orientation, religion, style, approach, race, socio-economic background and the varied schools of thought and talent that go hand-in-hand with an individual’s makeup.

  • How to Encourage Collaboration and Success Across Global Teams

With over 25 years of experience building and developing global teams across North America, Europe and Asia, Patsy Doerr is uniquely positioned to share her successful leadership strategy with senior management and team leaders. Constantly monitoring business trends—including increased globalization, market expansion and increased interest in sustainability and diversity and inclusion—Doerr offers timely and relevant guidance on successful team leadership. She can also share her insights on aligning teams of different sizes, experience levels and cultural norms around a shared goal, as well as building and collaborating on sustainability and corporate social responsibility on a global scale for both the private and public sectors.

  • Establish and Maintain Strong Public/Private Relationships to Expand Reach and Increase Impact

Collaboration with the non-profit sector is finally being recognized across all industries and businesses as vital to long-term growth, profitability and brand loyalty. Further, no financial entity or governing body will be able to solve the potentially catastrophic issues facing our society and economy on their own. Realistic success will be attained through collaboration on a global scale. Doerr’s unique, executive level of experience both leading corporate inclusion programs, serving on numerous nonprofit boards and heading an international charitable organization places her as the thought leader in successful global for-profit and nonprofit collaboration.
