Jessica Yellin’s Speech Topics

  • The 2024 Election and the Noise Machine

We know the 2024 election will be loud, expensive, and probably ugly. What can you expect to be the dominant themes and policy issues? What does this mean for action in Congress and the states? Yellin is a past Chief White House Correspondent for CNN, a longtime political reporter, and a news entrepreneur. She breaks down the implications of this cycle – for the voters, business, and your mental health –— in this talk geared toward anyone bracing for the election ahead.

  • Women Leaders, Inspiration

Jessica Yellin is one of few women to have held the title of Chief White House Correspondent. While covering politics she had an epiphany: the rage and negativity in the news was driving a huge audience to disengage. Seeing an opportunity, she took a leap, leaving her high-profile TV news career to launch her own independent media brand, News Not Noise. She dedicated herself to giving you information without a panic attack on Instagram. The brand exploded, to grow an audience that includes celebs, politicians, business leaders and professional women across the country. In the speech Yellin shares her inspiring story – what it took to make the leap, trust herself to innovate. She shares strategies to make small changes that’ll help you lead a life in alignment with your values and vision.

  • Moderating

Jessica Yellin has had the opportunity to interview or moderate panels for the Business Roundtable, JP Morgan, Institutional Investor, Google Zeitgeist, Near Future Summit, USC Women’s Conference, The Jewish Federation, America’s Beer and Beverage Association, Fenwick & West LLC. She has interviewed former President Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama, CEO Steve Balmer, former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, baseball player Alex Rodriguez, scientist Martine Rothblatt, Jennifer Garner, and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.

  • Social Media and the 2024 Race

LOL nothing matters. Except for the creators with the best lewks, the hottest lives, and the most followers Y’all. They drive clothing sales, and lifestyle choices — in 2024 can they drive votes, as well? Creators on TikTok and Instagram etc have outsize influence over audiences that hang on their every word. 40% of people who follow creators on social media say they feel they know the creator as well as a member of their own family. Campaigns, policy advocates and candidates – will try to influence and deploy creators to press campaign themes in a way that used to be the reserve of TV and mail. What role will social media play in the next election, and how can you find creators to drive a message, or build your own following? And what is their true influence? Jessica Yellin shares lessons as a Washington reporter turned OG-news-creator in this space.

  • Self-Help for News Consumers
