Golden Tate, a former NFL wide receiver, played for various teams over his twelve-year playing career, including the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants. Tate attended the University of Notre Dame where he excelled as a standout athlete in both football and baseball. With Fighting Irish football, he was awarded the Biletnikoff Award in 2009 as the nation’s top receiver. Soon after, Tate was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, he showcased his versatility, agility, and knack for making outstanding catches. Tate won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2014. His NFL career was one marked by impressive performances and memorable moments on the field. Off the field, Tate married his wife Elise in 2017, and they now have three young children together: London, Golden, and Isaiah. Golden Tate has since retired from professional football, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and commitment to excellence.
