Bill Press is host of his own podcast, The Bill Press Pod. A member of the White House press corps and former co-host of CNN’s Crossfire, he writes a weekly column for The Hill and a weekly syndicated newspaper column distributed by Tribune Content Agency. For more than five decades, Press has stood in the line of fire, debating heated national issues from a liberal perspective with his usual sense of humor and grace. Never shying away from controversy, Press tailors his talk to each audience and examines the news of the day including a look at Congress and the Trump Administration. He is the author of several books including The Obama Hate Machine: The Lies, Distortions and Personal Attacks on the President—And Who Is Behind Them (January 2012). In his book Buyer’s Remorse (February 2016), he explores the Obama Administration and what was a disappointing presidency for many progressives. Press is the former chairman of the California Democratic Party and has received numerous awards for his work, including four Emmy Awards.
