Anthony is on a mission to light the way for the next generation of Tech talent. His passion for technology, resilience, and moving story of perseverance motivates and inspires audiences to action. Now founder of Morgan Latimer Consulting, he leads clients to see and understand through the lens of underrepresented talent. Anthony Mays’ mission is simple: to light the way for the next generation of tech talent. Drawing on the past legacy of African-American innovators and looking to the future through the lens of faith, Anthony uses inspiration, humor, and an engineer’s mindset to empower people from underrepresented communities navigating the tech world while also counseling companies on attracting and retaining this new talent.

Having spent 20 years in tech and 8 years at Google, Anthony combines several unique perspectives, having worked as a software engineer at a top tech company and served as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion advocate. The story of his journey from Compton to Google was featured in a viral BuzzFeed video that saw over 5 million views. He has also authored several thought pieces for publications including Huffington Post, Black Enterprise, and the Tech Inclusion blog.

Anthony is currently founder of Morgan Latimer Consulting and also serves as Senior Advisor for the Brilliant Black Minds initiative at Karat.
