Vinay Narayan serves as the Director and Global head of VR Channel Strategy for Meta. In his role he oversees the category growth of the VR portfolio, channel partners and global sales strategies. Additionally, he leads efforts to create and foster a community of developer partners who are passionate about XR and strives to create a path of profitability for the entire industry. Vinay was previously the Vice President of Platform Strategy and Developer Community for HTC. He oversaw the company’s platform development to create a robust ecosystem for its consumer and commercial partners. In this role, he also led strategic relationships to bring best in class products and solutions to the market.
Actively involved in the development and expansion of the XR ecosystem as both a frequent speaker and sounding board for the community, Narayan has delivered addresses all over the world, including the VR/AR Global Summit, Game Developers Conference, and ATD’s TechKnowledge. Dynamic and insightful, he serves as a board member and adviser to a host of emerging technology companies, associations, and institutions. Narayan has also served as the President for VRARA Seattle, Mentor for Techstars, Adviser for Commotion Incubator, and served Board of Advisors for Washington Technology Industry Association.
